Game of the name

Standard

What is in a name?
Is it all in the game?
Will it change you?
Does it point to?
Like a lighthouse
Beacon in the night
Calling out a light

What is in a name?
Is it just a game?
Could it move you?
Will it point to?
Like a lighthouse
Beacon in the night
Calling out a light

Quintessence

Standard

As below us we perceive
Small matter
Above it’s us they see
The question mark of
Dark matter
Energy set free

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

How do we make a mark
To matter
Where are we meant to be
Existential proof of
Soul matter
Parallel frequency

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

And the universe expands
No matter
What we are able to see
Overtaken by this
Sad matter
Mutual dependency

  You and I
  And they are made of
  Stardust reincarnated
  This carbon inside me
Was once the heart of you

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

Weighing me down

Standard

Ominous trees, their branches cut
Decorate a sky of grey
I could cry out my sorrow, but
No rain, no rain today

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

My wings are clipped like the trees
Dead in my tracks mid flight
I will pray down on my knees
Can’t win, can’t win this fight

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

I’m so tired now
But there’s no sleep
Lost in my mind
Where the worries creep

Then darkness lifts time and again
It’s myself I always cheat
The spark is there deep down below
Must turn, must turn defeat

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

Up

Standard

Up
Up in the clouds
The world mounts
From the valley sounds
I need to decide now
Reach through the fog
And find out

What is truth?

Have some from me
Or just let it be
I maybe right
I maybe wrong
But I’ll be up
Up in the clouds
Where I belong

Your shore

Standard

Somewhere three lands meet
In one point far out there on the sea
A strange little line
That borders the soul of me

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

The rich multitude of potency
In that  delusion of our time
That rare occurrence
When all planets are aligned

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

With three steps are we connected
Like water rippled by the stone
All is  but one part
We play together alone

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

Song

Standard

At the coffee machine a song poured out
and so she drank the words first.
They consumed less time
than it takes to have a coffee.
But the satisfaction they bring lasts much longer.
