So I do

Standard

A proposal
Not to have or hold
Without the ring
But for your finger
Pointing at me
And what’s within

I have waited
Walked the earth
Only to discover
It’s not anywhere
It’s not out there
But here with you
So I do

A proposal
The end to searching
Together strong
As with the seasons
Through all of time
Here I belong

A proposal
Not to claim or posess
Without condition
As love is boundless
We’re falling free
Apart but one

Free of time

Standard

From when time began
With first light of sun
In beams of gold
Our story could unfold
Divided to unite
We shine our light

Eternity ever sends
Us upon a road that bends
I can’t see where it ends
But I know and I will find
In one moment free of time
You are mine

Opposites attract
And atoms will react
Across the eons
Purpose to frictions
Within your heart
Our tale will start

Eternity ever sends
Us upon a road that bends
We can’t see where it ends
But we know and we will find
In one moment free of time
You are mine

At the end of our time
We will see the sign
And stand tall
Straight through it all
Travel to the light
We will find inside

Future and history
Forever to be
Souls embrace
No time or space
Never gone
Always one

Colours of time

Standard

Where am I to go
Am I safe enough to know
My own world of beauty inside
Is the sight of truth
While the outlook is just bleak
What am I to do
I’m slowly drowning in the blue

I wish you could see
All those colours that I see
I can show them, but you don’t see me
I turn to you, but you turn away
And I can’t speak, I can’t say
Look at the harvest of time
The pain of the past we all keep recreating

When will you listen, why can’t you hear
The message of love instead of fear

Tiny moments in time
When we seem to get it right
And in our universe we collide
So we can run free
Until the cold wind of change
Brings the icy snow
The white replaces warmth of yellow

I wish you could see
A
ll those colours that I see
I can show them, but you don’t see me
I turn to you, but you turn away
And I can’t speak, I can’t say
Look at the harvest of time
The pain of the past we all keep recreating

When will you listen, why can’t you hear
The message of love instead of fear

The people I meet
Are not getting me I’m sure
They just see the crippled outside
Of the heart that loves
Despite the cruelty of the world
Wonder can be seen
In flowers growing from the green

I wish you could see
All those colours that I see
I can show them, but you don’t see me
I turn to you, but you turn away
And I can’t speak, I can’t say
Look at the harvest of time
The pain of the past we all keep recreating

When will you listen, why can’t you hear
The message of love instead of fear

What I will give
Might never survive it’s birth
Still I will see its creation through
And give my soul to you
Until there’s no more left to give
When love is dead
I will surrender to the red

I wish you could see
All those colours that I see
I can show them, but you don’t see me
I turn to you, but you turn away
And I can’t speak, I can’t say
Look at the harvest of time
The pain of the past we all keep recreating

You might never listen, so you won’t hear
My message is love instead of fear

Game of the name

Standard

What is in a name?
Is it all in the game?
Will it change you?
Does it point to?
Like a lighthouse
Beacon in the night
Calling out a light

What is in a name?
Is it just a game?
Could it move you?
Will it point to?
Like a lighthouse
Beacon in the night
Calling out a light

Quintessence

Standard

As below us we perceive
Small matter
Above it’s us they see
The question mark of
Dark matter
Energy set free

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

How do we make a mark
To matter
Where are we meant to be
Existential proof of
Soul matter
Parallel frequency

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

And the universe expands
No matter
What we are able to see
Overtaken by this
Sad matter
Mutual dependency

  You and I
  And they are made of
  Stardust reincarnated
  This carbon inside me
Was once the heart of you

Quintessence
One but divided
Balancing apart
A stellar team
To see or seem
Quintessence

Weighing me down

Standard

Ominous trees, their branches cut
Decorate a sky of grey
I could cry out my sorrow, but
No rain, no rain today

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

My wings are clipped like the trees
Dead in my tracks mid flight
I will pray down on my knees
Can’t win, can’t win this fight

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

I’m so tired now
But there’s no sleep
Lost in my mind
Where the worries creep

Then darkness lifts time and again
It’s myself I always cheat
The spark is there deep down below
Must turn, must turn defeat

This is weighing me down
So hard
So long
This has been weighing me down
Strength so great
Still not enough
This has been weighing me down

Your shore

Standard

Somewhere three lands meet
In one point far out there on the sea
A strange little line
That borders the soul of me

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

The rich multitude of potency
In that  delusion of our time
That rare occurrence
When all planets are aligned

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

With three steps are we connected
Like water rippled by the stone
All is  but one part
We play together alone

I am sinking
I am sinking
And it is slowly sinking in
That all I have been thinking
Sends me crashing upon your shore

Where we stand is now

Standard

Walk with me to the northern light
Where the world tips over the edge
Talk to me, tell me the story
Where we stand is now
The past a memory
Filled with greatness and with sorrow
Let us forget tomorrow
Where we stand is now

We are awake, but are we conscious?
We are alive, but are we alight?
We are stars, but where’s the moon?
We love the light, but does it blind us?
Will we see here?
Where we stand is now

We live and learn and think we know
True greatness knows it does not
So open up, let it go then
Where we stand is now
The past lives on but
It won’t guarantee future respect
Life remains a balancing act
Where we stand is now

We are awake, but are we conscious?
We are alive, but are we alight?
We are stars, but where’s the moon?
We love the light, but does it blind us?
Will we see here?
Where we stand is now

What is the fabric of the legend?
Sown into the silver seam of light
To believe I am possible
Where we stand is now
It might might spark off soon
Time synchronized before it went
I pray that it was well spent
Where we stand is now

Here and now
We live here and now
Don’t look back
Tomorrow’s a mystery
Here, In the moment
There is only here and now

We are awake, but are we conscious?
We are alive, but are we alight?
We are stars, but where’s the moon?
We love the light, but does it blind us?
Will we see here?
Where we stand is now

Sacred Space

Standard

In an eb and flow
The tide dances it’s dance
We are moving
Taking steps
Not near yet never far
Waiting for chance

Somewhere we collide
That is the sacred space
Devoid of time and place
Where that silent whisper
Is the voice that lights the way

As fire scorches earth
The ground makes it all grow
Come to the fire
Igniting flames
Not near yet never far
Touching the glow

Somewhere we collide
That is the sacred space
Devoid of time and place
Where that silent whisper
Is the voice that lights the way

A magic mystery
That  little corner deep inside
Where I belong
Feeling reborn
Not near yet never far
It’s where you hide

Somewhere we collide
That is the sacred space
Devoid of time and place
Where that silent whisper
Is the voice that lights the way

We will ignite, face the fight
We will talk, meet the night
We will walk, rule the light
We will be

There in the sacred space
Devoid of time and place
Where we let that silent whisper
Become the voice that lights the way

Somewhere we collide
That is the sacred space
Devoid of time and place
Where that silent whisper
Is the voice that lights the way
